Verizon FIOS Reverse DNS for your static IP Address

Well, I got to spend the better part of the morning on the phone navigating the myriad of transfers while trying to get a PTR record for a static IP address on our Verizon Business FIOS.

Network Solutions DNS Down?

So this afternoon around 3pm I found that I was unable to resolve http://www.ramsaycorp.com/

Obviously, I needed to verify the source of the problem. After a brief search I found that the nameservers were down. These nameservers are the ones hosted by Network Solutions (the registrar for ramsaycorp.com). As far as I can tell, many of the domains using ns*.worldnic.com are not resolving.
